We are very pleased to be joined by Corbridge’s very own Crime writer, Mari Hannah, to celebrate the release of her newest standalone unputdownable thriller, The Silent Room.
A new Mari Hannah has up until now meant a fresh case for feisty DCI Kate Daniels, but brace yourself for The Silent Room, which introduces the steely Detective Sergeant Matthew Ryan. Ryan is locked out of an investigation into his former boss, but after an armed ambush on a prison van bound for Durham, the official investigation begins to fall apart – Ryan goes dark to discover the truth. The breakneck pace, taut plot, and northern references (Karen from The Rat at Anick makes an appearance!) you would expect from Mari are all here; but this thriller finds an extra gear, and will leave you breathless by the end.
