The annual Tynedale beer festival takes place on Thursday 16th – Saturday 18th June 2016. Its the largest beer festival in the North and is a joint venture between Tynedale Lions Club and Tynedale Rugby Football Club to raise money for good causes.
The festival started in a modest way in 2002. Since then it has grown in size and popularity, raising six figure sums in the process. Although this is not a CAMRA beer festival, we do receive a lot of help from members of the local branch and are very grateful to them.
All of the beer is cooled and served from pumps to ensure that it is in tiptop condition.
