Join The Lab for an evening with a difference that sees Dilston Physic Garden transformed to enter the world of plants for memory and cognition.
The brain is an amazing organ and we need to look after it. Experiences of forgetting, déjà vu and recall will be examined using the sensory mediums of taste, touch, sound and aroma. You will discover the amazing properties of plants and how they can help us.
This event also features two sensory installations.
A scented piece by AVM Curiosities, which explores the history of medicine and memory and a sonic experiment from artist Dan Fox, where visitors will hear the sounds of a plant growing.
With public interest in plants for health on the rise, this event focuses on the benefits that plants can bring to our lives. Dilston Physic Garden is the perfect place to unwind – included in the event tickets you can explore a 2 acre collection of 800 medicinal plants.
