There’s a lot happening in Corbridge this Christmas:-
21st November – Lights On – the Christmas lights will be switched on and they will be better than ever before.
December Sunday opening – many shops will open on Sundays between noon and 4pm on Sundays in the run up to Christmas.
Saturday 5th – Tuesday 8th December – Christmas Tree Festival – this spectacular display of dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas Trees returns to St Andrews Church in the Market Square.
Saturday 5th – Monday 7th December – Changing Corbridge Exhibition -another chance to see this fascinating exhibition curated by local historian David Waugh. He charts the changing nature of the centre of the village over the years by highlighting the changing use of our buildings.
Sunday 6th December – Christingle Service – one of the most beautiful services of the year in our historic & stunning church.
Monday 7th December – Late Night Shopping & Carol Evening – this year’s event includes a brass band, carols and lots of stalls. Almost every shop will stay open late and there will be plenty of mulled wine!
