Corbridge Youth Initiative

Corbridge Youth Initiative’s (CYI) overall aim is to; enable young people to have somewhere to go and something to do by providing youth centered services in a rural setting.

We provide a range of services that aim to:-

  • Reduce risk taking behavior
  • Reduce rural isolation
  • Increase participation in a variety of sessions
  • Enable young people to influence decision making

In providing these services we feel young people will most importantly have fun and in turn grow in confidence, make new friends, boost self-esteem, become more actively involved in their local community and take greater responsibility for themselves and other young people in the area.

The group times currently run as:

Monday

Health Drop In – 3.30pm – 5.30pm (at the Centre)
