Corbridge Railway Station

Corbridge railway station is located on the south side of the river Tyne next to the entrance to Tynedale Rugby Club.

Corbridge railway station is on the Tyne Valley Line which runs from Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle, and is managed by Northern Rail who provide almost all passenger train services. It is unstaffed, although the station buildings on the eastbound platform are still in use as an Indian Restaurant.

The station has an hourly service to both Newcastle and Hexham on weekdays and Saturdays, with some evening trains continuing on to Carlisle.Many daytime eastbound trains continue to Sunderland and Middlesbrough. There is also an hourly service each way on Sundays, with all trains running through to Carlisle.
