Tynedale Rugby Club

Tynedale RFC is located on a beautiful 35 acre site with seven pitches adjacent to the River Tyne, Corbridge Railway Station and a short walk over the bridge from the centre of Corbridge.

There are ample training facilities for the 17 squads at the club including a floodlit training area and a floodlit pitch. The first team is well supported and there is a 400 seater grandstand. There are extensive changing facilities, a friendly bar and function rooms available to hire for events. John Inverdale, writing in the Daily Telegraph, described Tynedale as one of the most idyllic sporting venues in the UK. He’s not wrong. The site is also home to Corbridge FC, Corbridge Tennis club with three floodlit courts and is adjacent to Corbridge Cricket Club.

Established in 1876 we are probably the largest community sports club in the Tyne Valley and provide rugby for boys and girls from age five to 18 and have three senior men’s teams and a veteran’s team. Social rugby for mums and social touch rugby are also booming.
