Forum Books Presents Chloe Daykin

Date: Saturday 11th March, 2pm

Venue: The Parish Hall, St. Helen's Street, Corbridge NE45 5AH

‘Billy is a lonely boy. He’s obsessed with swimming in the sea, which is where he goes to wash his problems far, far away.’

Forum Books and kids! are delighted to announce our upcoming event with Chloe Daykin, author of the eagerly anticipated children’s book, ‘Fish Boy’, Chloe’s first novel for middle grade readers.

Although not published until early March, ‘Fish Boy’ has already received high praise from big names within the book industry and is drawing comparisons to the work of David Almond, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Louis Sachar and R.J. Palacio. David Almond describes it as ‘the real thing’, ‘I opened this and didn’t stop reading until I’d read it all.’

Smart, magical, beautifully written, and one for the whole family; ‘Fish Boy’ is already a Forum Favourite, and we know you’ll love it too. So join us at 2pm, Saturday 11th March, Corbridge Parish Hall, for kelp beer, fizzy brine, and a celebration of friendship, fish and David Attenborough!
